Kathmandu. Assistant General Manager Niraj Lamsal has been appointed as the acting CEO of Prabhu Bank. An emergency meeting of the board of directors of the bank on Sunday appointed Lamsal as acting after the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) arrested three high-ranking officials including CEO Ashok Sherchan of the bank.
The findings were highlighted in the annual report of the Nepal Police Headquarters, released today, marking the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence.

KATHMANDU: Police have arrested Ashok Sherchan, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Prabhu Bank. According to SSP Shiv Shrestha, the spokesperson for the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police, Sherchan was taken into custody today on charges related to banking offences.
