RPP denies any alliance in Rupandehi-2 election
KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has clarified that it has no plans to form alliances or support any candidate in the upcoming Rupandehi-2 parliamentary election.
Issuing a press statement today, RPP central spokesperson and head of the publicity department, Mohankumar Shrestha, dismissed recent reports suggesting that the party would back the Nepali Congress in the constituency, calling them “false.”
Shrestha stated, “RPP has not adopted any policy to align with or support any candidate in Rupandehi-2. Technically, the party’s candidate position remains vacant in the area, and we appeal to party workers and voters to cast their proportional votes for RPP,” the statement added.
