Kathmandu, January 15

A house has been sought in Jhapa to establish a contact office for Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor Balen Shah.

According to Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) district chair Prakash Pathak, a house has already been selected for the contact office. “The house has been finalised in Damak-3,” he said, adding that the house would be of historical significance. However, Pathak noted that Mayor Balen’s team still needs to inspect it.

In addition to the contact office, another house is also being sought for Balen’s residence and secretariat.

Balen is preparing to visit Jhapa to contest against CPN-UML chair KP Sharma Oli. He is preparing to contest the House of Representatives election from Jhapa-5, scheduled for Falgun 21.
