RPP leaders hand over 5-point memorandum to PM Karki urging for a new understanding

Kathmandu, November 30: A delegation led by Rajendra Lingden, chairman of the  Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) met with Prime Minister Sushila Karki. During the meeting held on Saturday, the delegation put forward various proposals. It formally proposed a new understanding among the King, political parties, the general public, and other stakeholders for the long-term interests of the country and for finding a political way out.

On behalf of the RPP, Chairman Rajendra Lingden submitted a five-point memorandum to Prime Minister Karki, urging her to take the initiative to convene an all-party meeting to build this new understanding. On Saturday afternoon, RPP leaders had reached Baluwata.

RPP leaders Bikram Pandey, Roshan Karki, Rabindra Mishra, Hemjung Gurung, Dr Dhawal Sjumsher Rana, Kunti Shahi, Rajendra Gurung and Sharadraj Pathak were included in the delegation led by Lingden to meet PM Karki.
