KATHMANDU: The faction led by Gagan Thapa, who was elected party president from the Nepali Congress’s second general convention, has once again reached the Election Commission.

The Thapa-led group went to the Commission today to counter the claims submitted earlier by the Deuba faction.

On Friday morning, leaders from the Deuba side had approached the Election Commission.

In response, the Thapa faction arrived at the Commission at 2:00 PM to formally challenge their claims.

The Election Commission had also invited the Thapa faction for discussions on the matter.
