Standard Chartered Bank to get dividend for buying shares today
Kathmandu. Today is the last day to secure the dividend of Standard Chartered Bank. The bank is closing its book on November 30 for the AGM and dividend distribution. As per the agreement, the shareholders who have been trading in Nepse till date will be able to attend the AGM of the bank and receive the dividend to be distributed by the bank.
The bank has called its 39th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on December 12 at the Army Officers Club, Bhadrakali, Kathmandu. The meeting will begin at 10:00 am.
The AGM will endorse the amendment to Rule 31 (1) (b) of the Bank Regulations to increase the allowances and facilities of the directors to be presented in the form of a special resolution. The meeting shall also approve another special resolution authorizing the Board of Directors to make any changes received from the regulatory bodies in amending the regulations.
The meeting held the last fiscal year 2081. The company will approve 19 percent cash dividend (including tax) on the current paid-up capital. The meeting will approve the annual and auditor’s report of the previous fiscal year.
Current fiscal year 2082. The meeting will also endorse a proposal regarding the appointment of an auditor and determination of his/her remuneration for Province 83.
