KATHMANDU: Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has reduced the prices of petrol, diesel, and kerosene, with the new rates coming into effect from midnight on Thursday.

According to the decision made by the corporation’s board of directors, the price of petrol has been decreased by Rs 3 per liter, while diesel and kerosene have each been reduced by Re 1 per liter.

With the revised price structure, petrol will now cost Rs 156 per liter, and both diesel and kerosene will be priced at Rs 136 per liter.

NOC stated that the price adjustment was made in line with the new purchase rates received from the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) on Magh 1 (Jan 15).
