Passports applied before Nov 2025 ready for dispatch

Kathmandu, Dec 1:  The Department of Passports has said that passports registered through district offices and Nepali embassies abroad until November 1, 2025, are now ready and being prepared for dispatch to the respective locations.

In a notice issued on Sunday, the department said passports applied for during that period have been printed and are in the process of being sent out.

Among the passports ready within Nepal are 695 for Arghakhanchi, 493 for Bhaktapur, 161 for Gaurigunj, 160 for Ilam, 1,287 for Kapilvastu, 1,040 for Kathmandu, 1,353 for Kavre, 793 for Lamjung, 399 for Lalitpur, 390 for Nawalparasi East, 1,291 for Nuwakot, 515 for Ramechhap, 268 for Rasuwa, 789 for Sindhuli, 904 for Sindhupalchok and 198 for Tanahun.

Similarly, 228 passports are being sent to Bahrain, 1,309 to the United Kingdom, 1,158 to Malaysia, 122 to Oman, 136 to Thailand and 1,605 to Qatar.
