Stock market plunges 26 points to cross Rs 7 billion
Kathmandu. On the first day of the week, the stock market closed down by double digits. Today, the NEPSE index decreased by 26.51 points to close at 2,649 points. Shares of 45 companies have increased and the share prices of 211 companies have fallen.
A total of 1,57,36,372 units of shares of 342 companies were traded during the day. Shares of Himalayan Reinsurance Company Ltd were the most traded today. Today, the company’s shares worth Rs 23.05 crore have been traded. Shares of Joshi Hydropower worth Rs 21.81 crore have been traded. Shares of Green Ventures worth Rs 21.35 crore were traded.
Today, the investors of Sagar Distillery have earned the most money. Today, the company’s investors have earned at the rate of 10 percent. Unit holders of Nifra Green Energy Debentures earned 9.99 per cent. Similarly, the investors of Swastik Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha, Jhapa Energy and Srinagar earned 9.99 percent each.
Today, the highest number of NMB debentures have been lost by the unit holders of 2090. Today, its unit owners have lost 8 percent.
