Kathmandu: A meeting was held between Sri Lanka’s Ambassador to Nepal, Ruwanthi Delpitiya, and Chief of Army Staff General Ashok Raj Sigdel at Nepal Army Headquarters.

The discussion reaffirmed the longstanding friendly relations between Sri Lanka and Nepal and focused on exploring avenues for enhanced defence cooperation between the two countries.
