Maoists, Gen Z agree to push all-party govt
KATHMANDU: The CPN (Maoist) and Gen Z activist Miraj Dhungana’s group have reached an agreement to work toward forming an all-party government.
On Thursday, the two sides signed a four-point accord at Maitighar Mandala, CPN (Maoist) Chair Netra Bikram Chand said.
Speaking at the post-signing event, Chand described the agreement as historic.
According to Chand, the pact includes: efforts to form an interim government, advance state restructuring, promote all-party consensus, establish a special judicial body to fight corruption, and fulfill the demands of the Gen Z movement.
He also emphasized that their struggle will continue until the movement’s goals are achieved.
