KATHMANDU: AC Milan secured an impressive 3–1 comeback victory against Como in their Serie A clash at the Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia on Sunday.

French goalkeeper Mike Maignan was instrumental in Milan’s triumph, producing a series of outstanding saves to deny the hosts, who registered eight shots on target.

His heroics kept Milan in the game after Como took an early lead.

The home side opened the scoring in the 10th minute through Mark Kempf, whose powerful header gave Como the advantage.

Despite sustained pressure, they were unable to extend their lead due to Maignan’s brilliance between the posts.

Milan found an equalizer in first-half injury time when Christopher Nkunku calmly converted from the penalty spot, making it 1–1 at the break.

The visitors took control in the second half, with Adrien Rabiot emerging as the match-winner.

He put Milan ahead in the 55th minute, finishing brilliantly on the volley after a precise pass from Rafael Leão.

Rabiot sealed the victory late in the game, scoring his second with a stunning long-range effort in the 88th minute.

With this win, Milan have reduced the gap to league leaders Inter to just three points, keeping the title race firmly alive.
