Kathmandu: The meeting of the BIMSTEC Expert Group on Cultural Cooperation (BEGCC) was held on Feb. 24–25 in Bangkok, Thailand.

During the meeting, participants discussed the establishment of a BIMSTEC Network of Cultural Institutions, the creation of BIMSTEC Digital Cultural Heritage Sites, and a framework for coordinated cultural promotion activities to mark the 30th anniversary of BIMSTEC.

Delegates emphasized the importance of strengthening cultural cooperation among member states and promoting shared heritage across the region through joint initiatives and digital platforms.
