Kathmandu. The stock market closed lower for the second consecutive day today. The NEPSE index decreased by 4.28 points to close at 2,645 points. Today, the share prices of 124 companies have increased while the share prices of 126 companies have fallen.

A total of 108,60,828 units of shares of 325 companies were traded during the day. Shares of United Modi Hydropower were the most traded today. Today, the company’s shares worth Rs 27.10 crore were traded. Shares of Himalayan Reinsurance Company Ltd (HLIC) worth Rs 15.38 crore were traded. Shares of Bandipur Cable Car Ltd. worth Rs 14.67 crore were traded.

Today, the investors of Sagar Distillery and Swastik Laghubitta have earned the most. Today, investors of these two companies have gained 10 percent. Investors of Jhapa Energy and Srinagar earned 9.99 percent each.

Today, the unit holders of Nifra Green Energy Debentures have lost the most. Today, its unit owners have lost 9.51 percent.
