KATHMANDU: Raghuji Films has officially announced two highly anticipated Nepali movies, ‘Kalkatti’ and ‘Kaka Ko Bihe’, each bringing a distinct flavor and a unique cinematic world to the screen.

Produced through the strong collaboration between writer-director Amardeep Sapkota and media personality Raghunath Sapkota, these films are expected to bring fresh energy, innovative ideas, and a new style of storytelling to Nepali cinema.

The production team is preparing to release both films to audiences in the upcoming year, 2083 BS.

Although the films were planned to formally launch with a teaser on Magh 1, unavoidable circumstances prevented the teaser release.

To maintain audience excitement, Raghuji Films shared the official posters, giving viewers the first glimpse of the projects and generating growing anticipation among film enthusiasts.

Among the two upcoming projects, ‘Kalkatti’ is moving forward with its filming schedule. Principal photography is set to begin in the last week of Magh, with casting and crew selection already underway at a fast pace.

‘Kalkatti’ is produced by Raghunath Sapkota, while Amardeep Sapkota has taken full responsibility for the story, screenplay, dialogues, and direction. Cinematography will be handled by Nisal Paudel, and the film’s emotional tone will be captured musically by Bhim Bista.

The film will be distributed across Nepal by RR Films, while its digital rights have been secured by OSR Digital, ensuring wider reach and stronger market presence.

With the posters now released, audiences are eager to see what kind of story, conflicts, and cinematic experience ‘Kalkatti’ will bring. The production team has confirmed that the teaser and further details will be unveiled soon.

After completing the shoot of ‘Kalkatti’, filming for ‘Kaka Ko Bihe’ will commence.
