KATHMANDU: A major theft has been reported at Prabhu Jewellers, where around 22 tola of gold and 25 kilograms of silver were stolen.

According to shop owner Umesh, the burglars broke the grill and forced their way inside, also causing damage to the main door.

Police informed that the thieves took the CCTV hard disk along with them, leaving no direct footage of the incident.

Authorities have begun investigation, and search efforts are underway to identify the suspects involved.
