Raju Pandey resigns from KMC police force

Kathmandu, Jan 16: Rajunath Pandey, Chief of the Kathmandu Metropolitan City Police Force, has resigned from his post. He said his resignation will take effect from January 18, 2026.
Pandey is preparing to contest the general election scheduled for March 5, 2026, from Kathmandu Constituency-4. He submitted his resignation today to Saroj Guragain, the Chief Administrative Officer of Kathmandu Metropolitan City.
