KATHMANDU: Acting Chair of the Nepal Communist Party (United), Ghanashyam Bhusal, has called on all political forces to refrain from disrupting the upcoming elections scheduled for February 21.

Speaking at a press conference in Kathmandu on Monday, Bhusal specifically urged UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli not to engage in activities that could derail the electoral process, citing past actions that, according to him, caused irreparable damage to the country.

He also requested the Nepali Congress not to harbor any doubts regarding the elections and emphasized that the party led by Pushpa Kamal Dahal lacks the trust of the general public.

Bhusal’s statements underscore the party’s insistence on a smooth and credible electoral process amidst a politically tense environment.
