KATHMANDU: The film ‘Viral Gorkhey’, starring actor Saugat Malla, has been released across Nepal starting today.

Alongside Malla, the movie features Srishti Shrestha, Buddhi Tamang, Laxmi Giri, Rajaram Paudel, Rishi Dhamala, Ravi Bhujel, and Miss Pavi in key roles.

Based on the positive and negative impacts of social media, the film is directed by Nirmal Shrestha, who previously collaborated with Saugat Malla in the action-drama ‘Chhadke’.

That film was praised for introducing a bold storyline and a fresh treatment to Nepali cinema.

Shrestha also directed ‘Chhadke-2’, which, however, failed to recover its production costs and was considered a flop in the Nepali film market.

Now, audiences are eager to see how ‘Viral Gorkhey’ fares at the box office.
