RSP launches Madhesh tour, backs Balen for PM
KATHMANDU: Senior leaders of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), including Kathmandu Mayor Balendra Shah (Balen) and influential leader Dr. Swarnim Wagle, have held intensive discussions, signaling strategic plans for the party’s future.
Dr. Wagle posted a photo with Mayor Shah on Thursday morning, describing their meeting as a “phase of policy clarity.”
He emphasized that Raswapa intends to prioritize Shah’s vision for economic growth and infrastructure development as a key agenda for the party.
In a move to expand the party’s organizational base and promote national unity, RSP’s top leadership is scheduled to visit the Madhesh region next week.
On Magh 5, party president Rabi Lamichhane and Dr. Wagle will lead a delegation to Janakpur.
The visit marks the official launch of the party’s “Nation-Building Campaign,” with the goal of sowing the seeds of a new national vision directly from Madhesh.
