Party united after Special Convention: NC VP Sharma
KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress Vice President Bishwprakash Sharma has asserted that the party has remained intact following the election of its leadership at the special convention.
Speaking to journalists at the Election Commission on Thursday, Sharma described the special convention as successful.
He said the party had updated the Commission about the leadership changes and the policy directions approved during the event.
“Nepali Congress’ special convention was successful. It has not only approved a new vision for the country but also changed the leadership. We have informed the Election Commission to update the records accordingly. Holding a special convention for leadership selection does not divide the party,” Sharma said.
He added that the Commission had been briefed on the mandate of the special convention.
