Gold, silver prices keep rising in Nepal; gold hits Rs 277,200 per tola
KATHMANDU: Gold and silver prices in Nepal continued their upward trend today, marking the fifth consecutive day of gains.
According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Traders Association, the price of gold today stood at Rs 277,200 per tola, while silver was priced at Rs 5,645 per tola.
On Thursday, gold and silver were traded at Rs 276,500 and Rs 5,485 per tola, respectively.
Earlier this week, gold and silver prices fluctuated as follows: Wednesday — gold Rs 278,000, silver Rs 5,655; Tuesday — gold Rs 276,500, silver Rs 5,340; Sunday — gold Rs 270,600, which rose by Rs 4,100 yesterday to reach Rs 274,700 per tola.
Internationally, one ounce of gold is currently trading at USD 4,615, while silver is priced at USD 92 per ounce.
