Gold and silver prices fall from record highs

Kathmandu, January 15

Gold and silver prices, which had reached record highs a day earlier, declined on Thursday.

The Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association fixed the price of gold at Rs 276,500 per tola for the day. This is Rs 1,500 lower than the previous day, when gold was traded at Rs 278,000 per tola.

Silver prices fell by Rs 170 per tola. After recording a historic high of Rs 5,655 per tola the previous day, silver declined to Rs 5,485 per tola on Thursday.
